About your EMGs

Postby Pole on June 30th, 2003, 3:20 am

Hi

I have a question for those who had an EMG exam. Did you get:

1. detailed result report with detailed description of all parameters of all examined muscles

or

2. only short result with: "All parameters of examined muscles normal"

or

3. Nothing on paper - only the neuro told you that everything is OK.

After my EMG the neuro gave me detailed report.

And how about you? 1,2 or 3?
Thanks
Marcin

Hi Pole,

I didn't receive any detailed information about the results and parameters of my EMG - The neuro that performed it on me told me right away that everything was normal. However, I' ms ure that IF i'd want it, it would be possible for me to demand the exact papers and test-results. But at the time, like I am now, I was just very satisfied with the result "You are fine".

I just came home from a week in Gdansk and Warsaw - Maybe I' ll go looking around Warsaw next time for a visible twitcher! :)

Regards,

Daniel
