On-Line Casino Spam...

Postby ryanbabs on February 21st, 2006, 1:42 pm

What's up with all the "On-Line Casino" spam? Can we get rid of it? It keeps bringing up very old topics.

Dunno, need to have a mod delete them I suppose. I told Aaron about the membership spamming too (have a look through and spot the http://www.casino websites) but he didn't do anything.

It just happened again. I assume that it's only in the forums that allow Guest/anonymous posts. If disabling non-registerd posts would fix it, that might not be a bad thing. If anyone seriously wants to post here, registering should not be a big deal, especially since your email address will not be displayed if you don't want it to be.

Well, if totally obvious bull$hit posts designed to scare people (e.g. containing statements that no real neurologist would make) don’t lead to the disabling of anonymous posts, maybe the onslaught of SPAM will work! I sure hope so.
