Has anyone had experience with Botox injections to reduce BFS cramps?

Hi Botox will most definitely help. May take time to get right dose and you may need topping up from time to time if cramping returns and the dose runs out. I have PM you about my own experience.

Tohapane 66, please share! I know of a friend who has used it for years for an eye twitch. It helps. I think if you have a persistent or recurrent twitch in a single area, it would help. Not so much for random bodywide twitching.

Hi leaflea

I recently had some Botox put around eyes after about six months of very unpleasant twitching in and around eyes. I only had a relatively mild dose and it has brought relief. I'm into my fourth year with bfs and I never had such intensity around my eyes before. Anywhere else and I can cope. Just not the eyes it made sleeping very hard.

I was told that Botox has been used for patients with muscular dystrophy with success. In these cases the cramping is very severe.

You are right though we can't Botox it all away.
