Charlie Horses in calves at night

Postby guitarguy11 on October 8th, 2015, 12:10 pm

Are these common for BFS sufferers? I have had two (one in each leg) over the past 2 weeks which is weird for me. Normally I have maybe 3 or 4 of these in a year. Thanks!

Yup. It's typically Small Fiber Neuropathy. Some of my posts reveal that with supporting sources and studies.

Yep. I have that in series - they come and go, and there weere periods when I was unable to turn from side to side without a pain attach in the calves. Now it is much better but it can go back again for no reason.

Thanks for all the replies. I had never had cramps before with this condition (other than like I said 2 or 3 times a year) until sometime in July. They kind of scared me, but I am starting to deal with them.
