Re: Question for oldtimers

Hi Buzz,

I appreciate your contributions and always enjoy your writings

In the history of this site, in my 3.5 years, I wasn't aware of anyone trying IVIG infusions. I think prior to me joining there were a couple of cases of confirmed Isaac's Syndrome and IVIG was initiated.
We had two suspect cases of BFS that went on to actual ALS (TDenver and Pratstarr).
We have had a few autoimmune cases in my time here, one was lupus the other was celiac (if you want to categorize it as autoimmune)
Interestingly, I am not aware of there ever being a cancer diagnosis starting from paraneoplastic syndrome.
I like your recent ideas of SFN and I plan on pursuing that opinion on my next neurology visit at a University hospital.

My current symtpoms are pain and sensory. That's really my only main complaints. The twitching never stops, ever.
A very proud fasciculator since 8/14/2011. :)

Greg - what about your two week episode of Prednisone where all your symptoms disappeared?

This is a good question for Chrissy to answer. I'll try to direct her here.
