Flexeril Questions

Postby Xina535 on December 30th, 2014, 4:13 pm

I am starting on this tonight. So far, after 1 pill, I don't feel much different. My calves feel a little tingly/throbby.

I read a lot how it should provide immediate results, but then it takes a few days for some people to feel relief.

Asking anyone who took this: how long did you need to take it before feeling real relief in tense, painful muscles and/or twitching? Also, any negative or weird side effects?

Note that this medication may aggravate twitching.

I searched on here for general posts about it, and it seemed like 9 out of 10 were pleased with it. I read that twitching as a side effect was in like 1-3% of reported side effects, so I know it can happen, I am mainly in it for tension relief. I did not find any posts where BFSers who took it posted about any weird or other side effects they had. Or how long it took to get to their relief.

I take it on occasion. My body is quiet the morning afterward, but the results do not last more than a day or so.

I've taken flexiril before and did not notice any changes with my symptoms.

Ok thanks! So far, I feel less pain, am more relaxed, globus in throat is better and twitching is less. Only weird side effect is a tingling/throbbing feeling in my calves.

by the way everyone, I only started taking Flexeril on my own, without Doctor Rx (they don't Rx that Kind of stuff here in Germany so easily, and when they do, it usually has different brand names). My dad had forgotten his supply when he visited last from the US and he suggested I try it. I have since decided to leave it out - I only took some for a couple of days.

One Thing I realized about it was it made me feel relaxed in my Body, but my mind was still on overdrive, so it was like an uncomfortable Relaxation. Not sure how to really describe it.
