Support to all

Postby fox2run on November 18th, 2014, 7:50 am

Hi everyone

Its now more than 7 years ago, my fear for this dreadfull disease took over after heavy fascics non stop (like 1000s each hour). I know now it was stress-related (read BFS in a nutshell - its the same for all of you). After years in total fear I had a treatment - mentally. I was very lucky to be assigned to a new programme dealing with health anxiety. I still have fascics but I live with them totally and I am only thinking of them when the powerfull ones shake my arm etc. Im now cured for the anxiety but I also know that I have to live with those fears forever. Its just a part of me, my DNA or social background, whatever. But being fully aware that its just a part of me make everyday so much easier. I havent been on this site for a while, but I can see that all of you are now, where I was in the beginning and I know you will read this, feel relief for about five minutes and then fear will once again take your souls. Time and awareness is the only cure. Seek professional, mental help. No neuro, EMG or hours of panick in gyms will ever cure you. Feel safe however. I had a girlfriend who suffer from MS and this kind of illnesses is nothing compared to what you have at all. Dont worry about the physiscs but instead take care for your mental health. Leave this site, get on with real life and forget everything the internet tells you. Thats all. See ya around.

Regards fox2run.

That's awesome, congratulations on that post. Frankly I'm always surprised that more people haven't read BFS in a Nutshell, since that tells you everything you need to know about BFS and it has been sitting there stickied at the top of every thread for like a decade. But it's always good to see it get more press.

Good to hear from you and good luck moving on with the rest of your life. :D

I am only here in spirit. I feel bad leaving for good because there are almost no old timers here anymore.
