Less twitches, more muscle aches and pains

Postby LKP1231 on November 9th, 2014, 10:34 am

I have plenty of twitching still in my feet but randomly in my legs, less elsewhere. But now my muscles in both thighs feel achy all the time, it's actually pain at times. And my knees hurt too. Can anyone relate?

Of course. This is very common in BFS. In fact I am actually seeing a physical therapist right now for the soreness in my left leg and left knee. Soreness is just part of the package when it comes to BFS.

Have you read BFS in a Nutshell? This is all spelled out pretty well in there.

I've been going to PT for a month and my legs bother me now, they didn't before.

That's just exercise intolerance, it is very common for BFS. And it makes sense too, you are stretching and working on muscles right now that you normally don't work on. And they were probably all tensed up before because of BFS and your anxiety over it. So it makes sense that your body would be rebelling over physical therapy at the moment. And I should know, because I am currently going through physical therapy too. It can hurt. It will definitely help you in the long run though.
