Postby vitalogy03 on October 20th, 2014, 11:06 am

How long do they usally last for other people?
I dont get them all that much, so when I do they make my anxiety sky rocket!
I have one in my right thigh that is really getting annoying its lasted for two days now!

I've had one last for months before, so one lasting two days wouldn't even count as a hotspot in my book. Others have had areas like the soles of their feet twitch for years! No worries at all.

They can last for less than a day to a long time (months). I had one for a month 24/7 that made it hard to sleep. Finally it went away so I know how you feel. Mine was a thumper being in the thigh and all. Trying to relax will be the best thing you can do. I know its hard but anxiety doesn't help. Just do your daily business as usual if you can. Hopefully soon it will start to calm down a bit and then just go away. In fact mine went away then I got upset about something and it then came back 24/7 for a week. Then went away again. I still get a twitch there sometimes but def not a hot spot right now. I know when it starts twitching there I just always pray it doesn't stick around and it hasn't thus far. Hope it subsides soon for ya.
