ALS walk

Postby LKP1231 on September 20th, 2014, 6:30 am

Every year we do the ALS walk in memory of my late husband. It's today and I'm sick to my stomach. I have to do it for my kids. I'm afraid to run out if energy. Or trip or fall (I haven't been doing either of those). Please wish me luck and strength. Seeing the people affected always makes me sad but this year I feel scared. What terrible timing - still several tests to go for me - everything one at a time bc of insurance.

Wishing you luck!! Or if it passed, then I hope it went well! My colleagues walked in MN and I donated to their team. They said it was record breaking!

Thank you it was fine, great turnout and weather. Just hard when you're worrying about the symptoms.

Yes, I bet. I wanted to walk, but my flight was booked right at the same time. I wanted to walk to kind "face my fear", in combination of contributing for a cure.
