Based, in part, on information from http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/healthli ... hy_134,51/

The symptoms of peripheral neuropathy vary based on the type that you have, which may be diabetic, and are listed here:

Motor neuropathy symptoms may include:

- Muscle weakness

- Difficulty walking or moving your arms or legs

- Muscle twitching

- Cramps

- Spasms

- Loss of muscle control

- Loss of muscle tone

- Loss of dexterity

- Falling

- Inability to move a part of the body

Sensory neuropathy symptoms may include:

- Numbness

- Loss of sensation or feeling in body parts

- Loss of balance or other functions as a side effect of the loss of feeling in the legs, arms, or other body parts

- Emotional disturbances

- Sleep disruptions

- Loss of pain or sensation that can put you at risk, such as not feeling an impending heart attack or limb pain

Further, Small Fiber Neuropathy may play a role:

I have wondered if Neuropathy could play a role in my problems. I was very overweight for years and had terrible posture, my problems showed up on the heels of weight loss and posture correction. I have wondered if some how I did not damage the nerves in my spine with the extra lode I put on them.

Excellent point. After five years at a sedentary, stressful job, I gained 25 pounds, developed abysmal posture, and my fascics (and pain) doubled. I'm now taking physical therapy and trying to undo the damage. Thanks for the post; it makes a lot of sense.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
