Horner's Syndrome?

Postby nrun90 on August 2nd, 2014, 1:59 pm

Hi everyone, just have a quick question. Does anyone know anything about honer's or have it themselves? I have had one pupil larger than the other for about year now, more noticeable in dim light. I recently started working out and noticed my right side of my forehead will sweat first then my left side will join in later. Just seems unusual. I went to the eye doctor last month, he said my eyes look okay. He said no to horner's because I do not have ptosis, but I've read that people can get a diagnosis without having the ptosis.

Having unequal pupils is not that uncommon - it's called anisocoria. About 20% of people have asymmetric pupils and thats their normal. As for the sweating it's harder to say - just get seen by a doctor you trust and trust their evaluation? I think Horner's is pretty rare.
