Can't follow link to register

Postby guest-register as Jo on October 19th, 2004, 12:05 pm

Hi there!

You have recently sent me an email in which I have to follow a link to register but try as I might every time I click on it I cannot get it to go anywhere. I think the problem is probably the PC I am on which is my parents but as they are not the most technically minded of people I don't know how to follow the link. I suspect it has something to do with JAVA as there are a few sites this PC won't go to and I think it's to do with that. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Jo

Did you try cutting and pasting the link manually into your browser address bar..that might work.

Sorry to be a pain but I really want to register as is first time in ten years have found people like me

One more thought- you might be right about your brownser settings. Maybe try downloading Netscape and give that a try?

I have manually activited your account, please check your email.

Usually this is due to your email program splitting the address for activation onto 2 or more lines.

If anyone else has this problem, please reply to the email that is sent, rather than posting it here since that will get faster results.

Hi, Jo:

Well, glad you can "talk back," finally. I do wish you didn't need us by now, after 10 years of BFS.

Jo,

TEN YEARS!!!!! Boo-hoo  I was hoping this would run it's course and go away. I'm only at the one year mark. Welcome to the world of twitchers and buzzers! I hope you find this site as interesting and reassuring as I and many others have.

:D

Aw, thanks for replies guys!!

As nice as you all seem I too wish I didn't need you either

Buzzygirl, don't use me as your role model he he. Everyone is different chick and hopefully you won't be a member on here too long and I mean that in a very nice positive way :D

Who knows, I might wake up one day with no twitches or anything, it started suddenly so fingers crossed it goes away suddenly...

And if worse comes to worse and you do have it as long as I then take heart because we can cope and we always have each other-mushy I know but true x
