Paresthesia / Restless Legs

Postby GuitarGuyBMG on July 6th, 2013, 6:08 pm

Anyone else have these? I'm 6 years into BFS and just now started getting this. When I say paresthesia it's not as if my foot is falling asleep, it's more of a pain when I take a step. In fact, it's so mild that I don't know if my foot is hurt or if it's something with my nerves. I also seem to have "restless legs," which started a day or so after the feeling in my foot.

Does it feel like your feet are:

Constricted feeling
Numb but not numb
Kind of a cool feeling
Prickly at times
Burny at times
Like little pinches here and there
Pins and needles
Like a rubber band feeling
Too much sun feeling on the skin
Painful at times - nervy not muscular

Then yeah I have been getting that lately in both feet up to mid shin and in my hands up to my forearms. If that is not the sensation you have then no, I don't have that.

I have no idea what its from (I'm a bit help, right), but if you find out what helps tell me.

I have tried stretching and hot baths. It seems to help hit or miss. Tylenol takes the edge off but not completely. It comes and goes. I hate it.

I got these symptoms before I got my BFS...I think it all boils down to a hyper-excited nervous system. I still get bouts of restless legs every now and then. I usually chalk it up to sleep deprivation and anxiety. It gets better.
Been on the BFS journey since 6/26/12...

Twitch way do I go from here?

BFS does get better with time. Almost two years in and able to do almost everything I could do before I had this condition. Still twitching away of course...
