internal shaking/vibration driving me mad!

Postby colls22 on March 16th, 2013, 12:05 pm

I know other people have mentioned suffering from this too...I really only notice it when I'm laying in bed, sometimes when I sitting very still. That feeling like your body is vibrating from the inside, like a very fine shaking. What exactly IS this?? Nerves being over-excited?

I'm getting it right now primarily in my arms, but have felt it also in my torso, and even my face. It's crazy, and really freaks me right out.

Most likely, this are fasics as well. When I have a buzzing feeling under the feet then I can clearly see fasciculations there. Besides, I had the buzzing feeling in different other spots, too.

I've had that. It feels like a motor running in your body.

No worries.

It is some kind of a tremor, not fasciculations. If you have an EMG needle stuck in a body part that is vibrating at that very moment, your EMG guy will tell you to try to relax that muscle, because you involuntarily put strain on it. Take a guess where I know that fact from... This can not only occur in single limbs, it can spread all over the body and make your whole trunk feel as if you had some kind of a transformator inside. It is quite common in BFS and loves to pop up when we try to fall asleep.

Ha. chrissi, I have actually had them say that to me, to relax. Guess now I might know why.

I am getting crazy buzzing/vibrations in my feet lately. It seems like I should be able to feel the movement if I touch my feet, but I don't. My husband couldn't feel anything either. Maddening! :x
