68, male, caucasian, started 4-5 months ago, twitches appeared to be major strong ones, calves, thighs, knees, glutes, elbows, shoulders, - now the intensity appears to have decreased but frequency and location has increased. No anxiety...just a Type A personality battling all the evil doers in my world. lol I connected this in my case to the ACE enzyme inhibitors (hypertension meds). Obvious that not all twitching is caused or triggered by the same. As I said in another posting.....the drug classification statistics that I found on internet documents that 65% of men and 50% of women wind up muscle twitching at or about two years on this type of medication. Could other meds contribute? I suspect so such as cholesterol lowering drugs.
