Take care friends

Postby RandyR on June 17th, 2011, 11:30 am

Well I am going to try and take some good advise I got from a true friend on here, DD said it's time to move on for me and after thinking about it I could not agree more. I hope I helped at least a couple of you on here, But I never can repay for all of the advise, prayers, and support that you all have given me. This place has been both a blessing and curse for me. They are so much good information on here but all the bogus stuff gets old, reading false stories and hearing symptoms of diseases that we don't have is just holding us all back.

Please stop googling and grabbing for straws, there are no concret answers for for why we have BFS. But it's been proven time and time again that it's benign and even though it's miserable it's not killing us physicaly, only mentally and were letting that happen.

I know I don't have many friends on here but I wan't to thank each and everyone of you for your positive contributions to the board, it has helped me drop the anchor and start to float again. I have a beautifull wife and two wonderfull boys that need me and I need to be there for them, and I will. :D

Thank you to all the veterns that have posted countless times repeating the same things over and over to us scared newbies, and thanks for all of the great stickies, i.e. bfs in a nutshell and so on..

I can't promise that I won't be back, but I am going to do my best right now to stay away. God Bless

I think Tom Petty says it best right here.

Best of luck to you and congratulations on doing what is best for you. Don't worry if you find yourself back here in the future. It's normal to look back every once in a while.

Take care!

Mario is a clever man Randy. Educated me with the 'big stick' a few times. 'Hurt' (the truth often does) to start then realized the wisdom of his sometimes very direct, but always correct statements

Yes sir the truth hurts, but some can't take the truth and thats what's funny.

Again I made a fool of myself on here several times, but I learned a hard lesson so it was well worth it.

were all going to be FINE! BFS sucks but it's not fatal, only the anxiety is if you let it....

Listen to the veterns, they know there stuff. See you later, maybe.... :D God Bless

You have helped alot, I was pm'd once by another member back when I was really lost and he said I should search out your posts, and they helped. I like the truth even if it is harsh. Like aussie sufferer said, We need educated with a big stick on occasion. Keep posting, this forum is need of you....

Darr if you read this, as much as I disagreed with you in the past, I was wrong. These newbies need you as well. I have a new form of respect for you since I see your not afraid to stand up for what you beleive in.

Take care....

I am probably going to stick around the next few weeks since it appears the board is pretty much in chaos at the moment. I'll see what I can do to help clean it up. And yes, you are correct, sometimes tough love is the love that BFS people need. In my opinion self pity is way too easy to fall into with this condition (trust me, I was once there myself) and I like to call BS on that cr*p when I see it. As a wise man once said, it is very hard to bullsh*t a bullsh*tter.

So Darr, are you and I going to be the board police again like in the old days? Maybe I can go rope Basso into coming back for a while. I think the three of us could get some stuff done around here.

Oh, I should probably go give myself an icon again too. Hmm... which one to pick this time? Last time my icon was the downshirt shot of Anna Kournikova. It was a favorite.
