washing machine

Note to everyone, don't go to sleep with your washing machine going. You could wake up at 2:00 am with your entire house flooded  .

I've read several posts on als boards where a leaking washing machine was the first sign of als. My neuro assured me that this was not true, but I mean, how can they know for sure? Now I'm really worried that my microwave will start malfunctioning. And I'm sure I can see early signs of defrosting in my freezer. And two people posted that the reception on their TV had deteriorated shortly before they got diagnosed with als.

PS this is a joke :-)

Thanks Joe, and David I needed the laugh! I just spent the last 8 hours watching guys tear out all my carpet, rip off all the baseboards in my house, and then drill holes in all the sheet rock. It's been a great morning.....It is a shame that it didn't happen tomorrow, that's my birthday.

GARY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

So sorry to hear about your house flooding. But look on the bright side, you don't have ALS! he he he...always something to be thankful for.
Also, you're lucky it wasn't the sewer line backing up into your house. That happened at my folks house :( . ewwww!

Love ya, antibiotic man.
