Burned finger, set off explosive twitching??

Postby Xina535 on May 23rd, 2015, 7:35 am

Has this happened to anyone else on here? Is this normal? It's never happened to me before...

Stupid me touched a very hot dish out of the oven with my left thumb and index finger, burned them (not bad though). Right when this happened, my whole left arm, lower and upper, immediately exploded with twitches, my husband was even like "wow". Could see them happen through my shirt.

After about a minute, it stopped, and went back to the regular twitching here and there.

Heh? I've burned myself before before bfs and after and never expietenced that!

PS, this is the same arm that supposedly had/has neuritis with the deltoid having had clinical weakness and an abnormal EMG.

Sounds like hyperexcitability to me.

Ok so not a normal reaction.

Do you mean this? Interesting because I have something "off" with my immune system...

anyone know if hyperexcitability can cause atrophy?
