Laugh at my expense, please!

Postby plainslady on April 3rd, 2012, 5:38 pm

Hey all,

Thought I'd share a funny story with you. I was on the phone with a business associate late this afternoon when all of a sudden I couldn't hear myself think...my two youngest kids were fighting like cats and dogs over the computer. I put my associate on hold and escorted my kids to their rooms. While lecturing my 13 year old son about how immature he was being, he started laughing at me. I asked him "you think this is funny don't you? You don't understand how mad I am right now!" To this he replied "I know how mad you are. The minute I saw your eye twitching I knew I was in for it!"

I guess my kids use my twitchiness as a "mom barometer" and know that if I'm twitching, it's time to run the other way. See,yet another practical use for BFS.

Have a good one,
Frances

It just shows you that parents need to be able to twitch on demand and they will be able to get their children in line.

Haha Frances, that's awesome! I play poker as a hobby... travel to tournaments in CT and Atlantic City. Not the best game to play when your eye twitches under stress! I must be so easy to read!!!
Over 10 billion twitches since May 2011.

On the contrary. If you learn to add in some extra twitches at times you can really fool your opponent. That way when the big hand is dealt and your eye starts twitching they will not be able to tell if you are bluffing or not.

One of these days we should have a Twitcher's Poker Run! That would even up the playing field for you Matt!
