Excited and wanted to share

Postby Ginlyn on July 21st, 2007, 1:51 am

Ok, forgive me but I'm so excited about some recent events.

As some of you know, I work with a non-profit organization that promotes the adoption of "America's Living Legends" our mustangs of the West.

Well today I found out that National Geographic is sending a film crew to our big expo in August, we are going to be featured on the program "The Horse Show with Rick Lamb" (for dish network subscribers) and that a PBS affiliate in Florida is sending a film crew to do a segment on our prison adoption program.

This exposure is so great -- it will really help showcase our mustangs and burros and hopefully generate more good homes for them!

Happy Trails!

Hi
That sounds fantastic, but will the tribe over here in the U.K be able to see it? Hope so!

Hey Ginny,

I was just wondering are the Mustangs the wild horses??. We have brumbies in Australia, they are the beautiful untamed horses that just run wild. I'm a horse lover myself although fell off one earlier this year and I must admit it has left me lacking confidence. We do get alot of National Geographic doc's over here so ya never know it may be shown here at some stage. Sounds great.

Catch ya

Ginny,

That is so wonderful. I cannot wait to watch the show on this fascinating, worthwhile project.

I hope that you are featured prominently in it, so I can tell everyone (proudly) I know that wonderful woman!!

Thanks to all for allowing me to share the good news.

I'll make sure I get times/channels for all of this stuff (they usually take 6 months from the time they film to the time it airs, or so I've been told)

I'm just so happy for the horses. They are finally getting the attention they deserve!!!! :D
