Team Canada wins in a shoot-out over Team USA in the semi-finals.

One more game to go...

That was close. I didnt think either of the goalies were going to make any saves in the shoot out.

A great win for Canada! Now go win that 3rd straight gold medal!

I live now in Canada for several year. Many Canadians love to watch hockey. Friday will be good test for Canada when they next play RUSSIA for gold.

I happy both way! Still have heart for home but love my new home too!

Go Russia! Go Canada!

It should be a great rematch between two great teams. Although Canada has won the past two years against Russia :)

There is always something special when Canada plays Russia in a gold medal game. It's so CANADIAN! Hey Val, I bet the Russians are saying the same thing back home. It's a great rivalry.

Go Canada Go!

Our Boxing Day present was set-up last night. We enjoyed our first TSN HD experience. Sens vs. Sabres. It was a blow-out for Ottawa and I was blown away with the picture quality. Absolutely magnificant. There is nothing better than watching the NHL in HD...except for being there.

We've closed the office tomorrow afternoon to watch the game. You're right-on about it being a Canadian thing. I'm old enough to remember the 1972 Canada/ Soviet Union Summit Series. My school was closed on the final game day.

Let's hope Canada brings home the gold.

I wasn't around for that battle but I did watch a remake of it on CBC this fall. I couldn't get over the hockey hair, big sunglasses and that toothless grin of Bobby Clarke's!

I'll be watching the game at the university pub. No HD at my apartment...struggling student! At least the beer will be cheap!

GO CANADA GO!!

I see it is Canada over Russia 3-0. It is only first period so maybe it will be better next period. I hope Canada not beat Russia up very bad!

I think Josh and Dale happy men today.

Canada has a Hockey team?

LOL :D

My dads first colour TV was purchased to watch this: http://www.1972summitseries.com/game7recap.html

He still talks about it.

He was still in school and couldn't afford to keep the heat on but he had to watch the game in colour. I wasn't born for several years - probably because my mom was so angry. :D
