Not looking good right now for U.S. 3 goals down as I type :(

My money's on a Brazil - Germany final (2-0 to Brazil to be specific)

Anyone care for a cyber-bet?

Who cares for cyber-bet. Betting is allowed in Croatia. My money AGAINST Croatia tomorrow against Brasil. About the final, Brasil will win World Cup (unfortunately). They are one class above others.

The only problem with watching paint dry is that you miss out on all of the gratuitous shots of hot (in my educated opinion) Dutch, Swedish, Argentinian, ... girls wearing big funny hats and little else.

yes i am currently loving the world cup action. 3 games a day at the moment - it's great.

best games so far have to be the germany-costa rica opener (for the final goal alone) and yesterday's australia-japan match. what a comeback for the socceroos!

i also saw the usa defeat - tough, but the czech's are ana amzing team just now. in any case, brazil are gonna win it. it's like they're playing "matrix football" as a friend of mine once stated lol.

My tip is

Brasil or Argentina. My outsider tip is the Ivory Coast.

Germany is not my favourite team although they can play at home.

Unfortunaly Switzerland is also not a top team

My pick is Togo. Not because I know anything about soccer/football, but because it is a cool name of a country I have no idea where it is.

Sorry about that previous post, it was probably insulting although I was just trying to be funny.

slavin - i'm actually a celtic man. but prso was excellent tonight, had one really good chance that i remember which was a very unlucky miss. croatia really impressed me tonight (though i don't think brazil were playing their best, ronaldo was shocking). but then i've always thought they were underrated. hell of a lot better than scotland anyway!

even with australia's awesome comeback yesterday, i still think you guys will qualify from your group along with brazil.

plus if croatia do well and go quite far, maybe prso will be nice and tired out for the start of the next scottish season. :P

Haha... I'm rooting for Togo too... but thats because the U.S. is pretty awful and my cousin is a marine who is actually in Togo now. Been there for over a year. He's guarding hte embassy. (It's a poor tiny country on the west coast of Africa... he drives down the street and has to dodge the flying *beep* being thrown at him by the monkeys on the street corners- true story)

Just thought I would share!

I thought Brazil and France were dull dull dull. Germany and Sweden very average. Czekoslovakia were very good, Argentina looked very good as did Australia. The Trinidad and Tobago right back- Edwards was fantastic. England looked very good first half, second half they were awful. Italy? if they just played football they'd be good. Who's going to win? not Brazil, maybe Argentina.

Edit cos I put Jamaica instead of Trinidad ;)
