In Memory of a dear friend

Postby Ginlyn on January 19th, 2006, 11:55 pm

I hope that none of you mind this post. I was informed this evening by my sister on the east coast that we lost a dear, dear friend of ours due to breast cancer at the age of 55. She fought long and hard for five years. Since I don't have my own website, I hope you don't mind this "public" dedication to her. This is a song sung by Lee Ann Womack called "I hope you Dance". In memory of Diane.

I hope you never loose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger.
May you never take one single breath for granted,
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed.
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens.
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance,
and when you get the choice to sit it out or dance...

Dance......I hope you dance.

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance.
Never settle for the path of least resistance.
Living might mean taking chances, but they're worth taking,
loving might be a mistake, but it's worth making.
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
when you come to close to selling out, reconsider.
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
and when you get the choice to sit it out or dance....

Dance.......I hope you dance.

Time is a constant wheel in motion always rolling us along,
tell me who wants to look back on their youth and wonder where those years have gone.

Elaine,

I hope you don't mind but I looked at Trinity's website.

What a beautiful child. Love for her shines out of the face of every person in your photos. She obviously was a child who brought happiness to all she came into contact with.

It is great that you are creating an awareness campaign in her memory and raising funds for other sufferers

Blessings to you

Ginlyn - so sorry about the loss of your friend, I can imagine your pain. Elaine - I have a 3 yr old daughter and could never imagine going through what you had to endure. She was a beautiful child.
