Hey Suzi,

I see what you mean about the title. I don't have ny Ba**s, but if I did, I am sure they would be twitching.

Better over here, then over where Jodi is doing too much research for me this week. Now I am worried about lung cancer, and Hodgkins too. SO yes, please write some more Christmas twitching songs....we need a little Christmas right this very minute.

I will meet you in New York, especially since I live here too ! I am on Long Island, whereabouts are you ? I wonder how many people are close in proximity....maybe a luncheon sometime in January for all of the local twitchers. We can report back here??

I read an old post on here once about someones nightmare of peple comparing twitches and reflexes in a restaurant, very funny...I will see if I can find it again.

In the meantime I will look forward to your next compositon.

(Sung to the tune of 'Walkin in a Winter Wonderland')

In my calves, things are movin'
like a snake, muscles groovin
a frightening sight, I'm sleepless tonight
twitchin in Fasciculation-Land

cramps, and shakes, buzzes, thumpers
turn my legs into jumpers
as you snooze and snore
I vibrate galore
twitchin in Fasciculation-Land

Maybe I can see another doctor
Tell him all about my darkest fears
He'll say "are you weak?"
and I'll say "no, man..."
and then he'll say "your emg is clear..."

Later on, I'll conspire
that my doctor's a liar
but with every test
it's just bfs
twitchin in Fasciculation-Land

twitchinnnnn in Fasciculaaaation LAAAAAAND!!!!

Our posts must have crossed. I live in Mercer County, NJ.

My husband works for Pfizer in NY.

He is originally from Long Island, though I can't remember what town.

I am in the "Princeton Corridor..."

Exit 8A. That's the way we in Jersey describe our whereabouts.

I feel left out.

SuziQ, you are a veritable fountain of BFS Twitchmas repertoire. If only I had known about you last year we could have spent the season getting politely drunk and singing all your new and inspired lyrics. I spent last Xmas in New Jersey with some absolutely appalling relatives, and could have definitely used the excuse to ESCAPE!!

I don't have ny Ba**s, but if I did, I am sure they would be twitching.

:? I don't get it, could you elaborate Christina?

Aww, Basso....there, there. You will just have to find an excuse to take your twitching self down to New York in January.

WHERE? WHO? Perhaps we are related somehow? I have some pretty dreadful relatives, myself!

Hey, if nothing else, you can venture down here to see those relatives again!

Listen, you two. I have been sick all week, and I am sitting at my desk trying to get some work done, and catch up

But, I keep having to slip over here to see if there are any new I think that this is becoming more important. I am giving myself the rest of the day off so I can learn these new lyrics. time you are down here , you have to let us know. We really need to rehearse in person, so hard to get that three part harmony down through the message boards.

Sorry Christina-I just had to add one more!!!!!

T was the night before Twitchmas
And all through the place
Not a muscle was stirring
Except for my face

My meds were all piled on the night table with care
In hopes that these twitches would soon disappear
The children were nestled all snug in their beds
While muscles and ligaments buzzed on my head

When down on my soles there arose such a clatter
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter
Away for the flashlight I flew like a hawk
And on heels then toes away I did walk

Deep knee bends, and push-ups, bench presses did I
to see if this syndrome was more than benign
And what to my wondering eyes should appear
a new set of twitches attacking my rear!

Now thumpers, now buzzes, now ripples, now hot spots
Now tremors, now jolters, now jumping like jigawatts
From the bottoms of my feet to the top of my skull!
Now twitch away, twitch away, twitch away all!

And then, in a twinkling, I felt quiet and calm
As I remembered Saint Basso’s advice like a balm
And Jodi, Christina, Mark S and the rest
It’s not going to kill me, it’s just bfs!

So I sprang to my keyboard and typed up this rhyme
To thank all of you for giving your time
So hear what I’m saying, dear friends, as I write
Merry “Twitchmas” to all, you’re the best, and good night.

That was a truly beautiful, and heartfelt poem SuziQ. I should have mentioned that immediately before I launched into my Xmas eve story that was lewd, albeit a tad funny. I have deleted the story in favour of the sweetness of your poem pervading through the thread like it ought to.

And what....
about my poem reminded you of this sordid affair?

That's quite alright.

I just wasn't making the poetic connection between my sweet, innocent, G-rated offering and your cheap, dirty, sleazy anecdote.

Now that you've explained the loose association with my butt cheeks, I suppose I can give you grace.

I reckon I should even be complimented, yes-perhaps even honored that I can inspire such a memory.

Basso-you are a silly-willy. (No pun intended...)

I was just jerking your chain (Again, no pun intended.)

I mean, honestly, you didn't rub me wrong. (once again.....I can't help myself)

I am more than happy to stay abreast of all of your past experiences. ( )
