1st Marathon Sunday

Postby Ginlyn on September 26th, 2005, 3:52 pm

Sunday, Oct. 2, I will run my first marathon.

I'm nervous already.

Hope my twitching legs will carry me through!

It will be interesting to see how my calves react to 26 miles......

Ginny:

I think it is most insensitive of you to point out what poor shape the rest of us are in. :D Have a great run.

Ginny,

Way-to-go girl!! I admire your dedication to running and I'm sure you'll do great on Sunday.

Can I just say that I'm happy when I clock 30 minutes on the treadmill 3 days a week? You are superwoman!

Best of luck Ginny. Your an inspiration for us all to get up off the couch  and stop dwelling on our twitching.

Where is the marathon? Are you going to be on TV?
I know all the guys here want to see those legs that can go 12 miles.

I know this is your Mt Everest, you will come back a conquerer.

Doug,

Your post cracked me up.

I needed it to relieve the stress I am feeling.

BTW, I MAY be on TV (the one who decides to lay down and roll to the finish line - a marathon first in the history of marathons).

Anyway, you guys would know who I was. Just look for the endlessly twitching calves!

Ginny

PS THANKS HEATER AND ALL!!!
