Again, thanks for all the kind words....this coming week should let us know exactly what we are facing. My mother had a needle biopsy done last wednesday (would have been done earlier, but hurricane Ike delayed us about 12 days) and a pet scan on Thursday. We should get results back by Tuesday/Wednesday.

Please say a quick prayer for us.

Take care,

Gary

Gary,
I am so sorry about the scary news but, with modern medicine and a positive attitude much can be done to get her back to wellness. I will keep you in my thoughts and hope for a good outcome for you and your family.

Thanks everyone. My mom started chemo last tuesday and is in the hospital tonight. She didn't tolerate the treatment very well, and is really dehydrated/electrolyte deficient....so it is a couple of days in the hospital before she returns home.

Please keep her in your thoughts/prayers.

Take care,

Gary

Your mom is in my prayers....Once they get her chemo regulated it will be much easier on her. My friend was getting chemo, made her so ill she as well found herself in hospital getting rehydrated. They tweeked her chemo, and gave her a *beep* before each treatment, she did much better.

Keep us posted, sending hugs

Terri

Hey guys,

Most of you guys didn't know that my mother was fighting cancer over the past year, but she has been. Tonight I'm thrilled to update that her last PET Scan was normal except for scar tissue :!: :D :!: Now we know that we aren't completely out of the woods, and she will have to be monitored on a regular basis, but given the odds we were up against, all of my family feel like we have witnessed a miracle.

I wanted to take a minute and thank all of you here that have sent out positive thoughts her way over the last year.

Take care,
Gary
