Hello all,

I apologize for my scarcity on the forums, but I have been very busy with work, leadership responsibilities at my church, the gift of a new son, etc.

Before anyone asks - yes I still twitch after 7 years. However, I hardly think about it anymore and it has seemed to have decreased even with all of the added stress in my life, so hopefully some will find that encouraging.

First, let me comment on the recent dust-up in the forums. I have updated the the "Welcome to" stickies in the forums, please review them as a reminder of what is expected in the forums. In particular, it may be helpful for new users and old alike to review the "Netiquette" entry at Wikipedia. Many people feel invested in this forum, both because they have helped an been helped in dealing with BFS. I encourage building relationships with the users on the forum, however keep in mind that this is first and foremost a resource for information and support on BFS. Please keep this in mind, both before you post and when you respond to a post. Let's keep the signal-to-noise ratio high!

Second, regarding the recent bouts of spam posts and invalid users, I am working to clean that up. Occasionally, the forum software (PHPBB) suffers from some sort of exploit that allows spammers to do that. Please feel free to PM me if you see any activity like that here.

Third, I am soliciting nominations for a new moderator(s), as I just don't have the time to do this actively myself. Please DO NOT post them here, PM me and I will contact them to see if they are interested. You may nominate yourself if you are so inclined. I expect that the new moderator will be active in the forums, and interested in forwarding the mission as stated above, without bias.
