Wouldnt this site be even more helpful if it had an online chat feature as well?? I'm sure not everyone will agree, but I think most users, even newbie's impaticular would or could really enjoy having somewhere to go if they had an immediate question that may be ruining there day or keeping them up that night, and if they could talk to other BFS' sufferers who may have that symptom and can reassure them that it is part of the disorder. Sometimes its really hard to post and wait for responses from other users of the site. Just a suggestion.

I 100% agree with your idea. I think a chat feature would be great for our site! Especially during the day when anxiety levels are running high and we are looking for more immediate answers, or have simple questions.

I think it's a great idea and something that we should try to get some support for right away.

Yes, thank you for agreeing with me, NOW, how can we make this happen, LOL. I think its interesting that you said during the day when anxiety is running high, my anxiety is so much calmer at night than it is during the day, during the day I am a mess. Take care

This thread is old Cenkay, and yes it did happen several months ago. I started a chat room for BFS back then but only got maybe 10 members. I ran it 18 hours out of everyday for roughly 4 months, and I just grew tired, and it was fine to have the members that we did, the only problem was that some people were in other countries so there was usually no more than 1 to 3 people on at once. So unless I stayed on it all day and half the night, there was no way to guarantee that someone would be on to talk to anyone who just joined. I have been asked to start it up again by a few, and I'm currently tossing around a few ideas to where I dont have to be on it around the clock. I'll keep u posted if you like.

ahh, i never knew that but yeh i could see how that there are people from different countries would've been a problem, that does sound like a lot of hassle for you which isn't really fair...
how was the chatroom setup? was it a section on this forum?
it would be good if there could be some kind of chat similar to the setup of facebook's.. but i could imagine that would be a nightmare to start/run lol
but yeh, keep me posted with it all, but don't let it overpower your sleep you!
