Horses with BFS?

I replied to a post last night about potassium and had remembered hearing about a condition in some horses where they have widespread fasciculations and weakness that is caused by anxiety. They put them on a low potassium diet to relieve the problem. It's called Impressive Syndrome.
I found a few sites that talk about it.. I know this is not BFS but could there be some connection? Why don't they just give the horses sea-salt, it kills potassium. I thought someone had brought this up here but maybe it was another site I shouldn't have been on
Anyway, this should be a pretty good discussion.
