on a lighter note about the "6.7% study" :)

Hi Folks,

just to compensate you guys for all my boring math & stat postings,
I'd like to share the following lighter note on the 6.7% study: ;)

Did you know that of all people the famous author of
the "6.7%" study himself is a twitcher ?

This is what one of his patients (a worried twitcher) reported about his
BFS-appointment with Dr. Eisen in person:

When I saw the ALS specialist and was through with the interview and EMG and other tests, he said "So you're worried about the twitching/fasiculation thing mostly I'm guessing, right?"

Well, mostly, Ya (-Me).

"Like this right?",

At which point he pulled up his pantleg to demonstrate the twitching he had in his left calf. I have never seen fasiculations like this guy had. Then he pulled up the othe pantleg, and the same thing.

Dr. Eisen, the "world renound" ALS specialist had BFS.

Coinsidence?, or can the mind do crazy things to you?, especially the more you know about something.

That post was mine from the other forum. It is true, except I think it may have been one of Dr. Eisen's colleagues. They were a specialist at any rate.
