Swallowing issue

I have been twitching since 2012 and I still do. I got an EMG about 3 month ago and was normal.
Now what's freaking me out is that for the past three days I have been having trouble swallowing
I am not choking on water or food but when I try to swallow I feel my muscles are stuck and don't initiate the movement and sometime I feel it works fine.
When I attempt to swallow without any food or water sometime I can't swallow and then shortly I am able to do it
I am not sure what's happening.
Does it look like bulbar stuff going on. I am really freaked out

This doesn't sound worrisome to me at all. It's normal not to be able to swallow nothing. If you ask someone to just swallow, generally they swallow saliva. You only have so much saliva in your mouth at a time, so if you asked anyone to swallow "nothing" back-to-back a bunch of times eventually they wouldn't be able to do it until enough saliva built up. If you truly had difficulties swallowing from a neurological disease it would be with food and water and it would be persistent. If you're eating and drinking ok then you're good! Stop trying to test yourself by swallowing

But I feel my swallowing reflexes are not working
And when I think about it I feel my throat becomes numb
I went to ent after examining my throat he was not
Concerned about als. He said that my vocal cord muscle
Are working normal and noticed irritation in the opening and closing
Where food goes down. He said I might have reflux
I Don't think reflux can cause the swallowing reflexes to stop working
