one question to all of you: My neuro recommended me to try Amantadin. It is a medication against parkinson symptoms (dopamin), viruses (esp. Borna) and seems to protect the nerve cells for it is an antagonist of the glutamat receptor. He think it is worth a try. He prescribes it to his MS clients...what do you think? Do I risk too much? He asked whether I am a bit experimental. Would you do?
I have atrophie
and stiff muscles,
muscle pain.
twitching level is very low...
I am suspected to have a chronic virus infection (due to TH1 immune shift in cytocine profile)

Alcohol is a very effective glutamate antagonist. Have a beer every evening.

Yup plus the resveratrol in the wine will help reduce any systemic inflammation.
