Assymetrical hypothenar muscle

uggh had a brief episode of shoulder twitching and i went back on the downslide again....

can someone exlplain why or if its normal for hypothenar muscles to be different?

I am right hand dominant and just noticed as I was looking at my hands that my left hand is hypothenar muscle is meatier than my right.

I suppose now that I think about it - that while I am left hand dominant I do use my left more than my right ( i do grappling / wrestling and i favor my left side over my right because while my right side is stronger, I am more coordinated on my left side)

But after a good few weeks of dealing with twitches and watching them decrease -- i'm back in panic mode.

do any of your hypothenar muscles look different from the rest ?

in the early days, while full of anxiety, I kept a spreadsheet of muscle measurements.....they were never symmetrical, none of my muscles. I did this for almost 2 years.....work on your anxiety and get on with life is the best advice I can offer you.

take care,
gary

I, also, have a much meatier left thenar muscle (and I'm right handed).
