Prolonged worrying causes you some hyperventilation. Frequent yawning is a symptom of hyperventilation first of all, and it could be really exhausting.

I get actual yawning fits, one yawn will finish and another begins directly afterwards. This repeats over and over. Fits last for approx 45 mins, most often a few hours before ocular migraine. Had them for years and years.
