Driving

It seems that driving makes my right leg sore. As if I exercised it or something. Has anyone had anything like this? Where something you do over and over makes your muscles ache?

Haven't had that happen yet. Actually, maybe so, in my right arm.

Ok thanks. Kinda wanted to hear from someone who can relate, not someone to tell me they don't relate. Looking for help and reassurance. Not someone who just says nope you have that but I don't.

i wasnt trying to be rude -- i was just curious when your appointment was.

When you drive and it becomes "sore" are you still able to drive ? get out of the car and walk normally?

Sorry I'm
Just sensitive right now, and it was the prior post that originally made me feel bad, I hadn't seen yours. Yes I can still drive and walk, it just feels very sore. Now I'm reading that nerve tests are often normal with *** and I have to wait another week for the muscle test.

1) Stop reading

2) from what i have read -- Pain is not normally associated with *** at least initially at onset. Pain comes when the muscles are dying and cramping. You are just being sore doesn't mean ALS -- have you been doing all the strength tests? Walking on your toes and heels etc...

You have to keep in mind - your anxiety is at an all time high -- so you probably are feeling everything x10.

Ok thanks that helps a bit. Yes I'm always walking on my toes, heels, etc. my first husband passed of *** 8 yrs ago. Twitching was not seen anywhere near onset. True weakness and atrophy at the start. I just don't get any of this :(

Hi LKP..... I too get sore legs when I'm driving....mine always feel sore and almost a feeling of the skin being sore. This usually happens when I sit down or put pressure on my legs and always at the back..never the front. It's all very weird and not sure if this is a sensory symptom. I also get almost creepy crawly like feelings all over as well as twitches. I think aliens gave taken over!!!!!
Best wishes

I get the creepy crawly feelings in my feet, especially my left. My soreness is like a sore muscle like from exercise.

RIno I know you're right about anxiety, in fact my neuro said that exactly today. I'm so tense about it when I drive I'm sure I'm making it worse.

My post was not written maliciously. I was describing my experience. Unless I can provide reassurance, I won't comment on your posts. Apologies.

Thanks. I'm just very nervous right now and thinking I have something uncommon to bfs scares me to no end. Waiting for this last test which I know could come out badly is killing me.
