Throat Twitches

Postby Little Lost on September 4th, 2014, 5:29 pm

Hi wonder if anyone can help. Been twitching widespread for over 3 years, had 3 emgs and all fine. I was really beginning to walk down the road to recovery, when I started to get throat twitches. Front, middle, slightly to the left, little flutters but definite fasciculations too rapid to be pulse and are irregular. No problems talking, swallowing etc.

Does anyone get these or am I just a complete nut job.

Would appreciate any response

Hx

PS. I am a serious coffee addict and probably deserve all I got.

Many times. The coolest were the long throat muscles that would twitch randomly and hard and feel like guitar strings being plucked. Nothing to worry about.

When my twitching first started I would get these crazy electrical shock-like pulses that would hit my neck and throat area. It was just one quit hit, then it would hit a different spot. CREEPED me out like something fierce. Don't have them too much anymore (at least in the throat), unless I'm exercising pretty hard.

I too can be coffee addict. Sometimes people at work have to tell me that I've hit my limit. I know my limit.....

Yes I get these (especially just below jaw line).

You may still be a complete nut job though, a nut job with a harmlessly twitching throat.

Thanks for the replies, thought I was the only one.....the chosen one. Like in that Toy Story scene with all the little aliens in the vending machine, and one says ' The claw choses who must go' .well I thought the claw was coming for me for sure after I develop these throat spasm things.

Your descriptions of the guitar strings and the electric shock accounts, both ring a bell with me, perhaps I have swallowed a Gibson Les Paul or something.

RGB I am a nut job ........., hey but were you not the one that wanted me to emg my whole cat including tail.

Serious though thanks again, I like uniqueness, but not when it comes to bfs symptoms.
