Fasciculations that you can see but can't feel

Postby Craig on October 7th, 2002, 7:25 pm

Ok, I have a question for the group--has anyone seen fasciculations that they were unable to feel? Last night I watched tiny fasciculations in my foot that I was unable to feel. From what I have read, I don't think this is a very good sign...

I have them all the time. I have fasciculations that I feel and many that I don't. You're not alone on that one!

I have twitches that I can see that I don't feel
I have twitches that I don't see that I do feel
I have twitches that I see and feel
AND I probably even have twitches that I don't see or feel.

It's all part of this fantastic game of life we play!

Must be nice to live on the West Coast. I'm here in good 'ol NYC... How long have you lived out there for?

I am glad that the poem made you smile but I didn't intend it to be a poem at all! In fact, I didn't even mean it to be humorous in the least! I really do experience all those things and it really stinks... However, I am glad that it made you :)

Take good care everyone,

fascics you can't feel

Postby Rich Longer on October 17th, 2002, 2:28 am

I get them all the time. I think they are just litttle versions of the big twitches.

I had an assessment yesterday and mentioned them. neurologist didn't seem to be worried.

Those are nothing to worry about. Those were my first twitches that I noticed over a year ago and my feet are still fine. My doctor has witnessed them as well and said they are typical benign fasciculations.

Over the past one to two weeks i've been having many more twitches that I don't feel. I know that I still have twitches because when I look at my calves I can still see them. However, I still get big ones here and there in my arms, quads, etc.
