Fasciculations caused by trauma to muscles

Postby Tim H. on November 30th, 2007, 7:10 pm

I'm a new member but was diagnosed with BFS one year ago. I was able to manage my symptoms pretty well but recently have gotten a lot of cramping and pain in my back and shoulders. I don't think that back cramping - specifically in the Rhomboid muscles is typicall of BFS. I've had cramps in my legs, arms, feet and hands but none in the trunk area.

I had some damage to my shoulder a few months back and wonder if a muscle is hurt it is more prone to fasiculations and cramping?

My chiropracter feels that it is a combination of things - with bad posture being one culprit. Too much time working on the computer has forced my shoulders to come forward more than they probably should and places pressure on my back and neck. Has anyone else had back problems that have been accentuated by BFS?
