MRI without contrast good enough?

Postby aumali on August 8th, 2006, 11:38 am

Hi,

I have had some of the MS symptoms (tingling, pain, twitching etc..) and my GP ordered an MRI of the Brain without contrast. The results were normal and he thinks this is due to anxiety.

My question is whether or not I should go ahead and do an MRI of the Brain with contrast (will lesions appear on an MRI without contrast?)?

I would really appreciate your support.
