Letter today: "Normal EMG/NCS study. No evidence of any neurodegenerative process".

I can't quite believe it

Oh and my emg was noisy as hell so there ya go.

Dont know ya but congrats ....keep that letter to look at every time ya get doubtful

Yay Leroy! Such good news. Mine was super noisy too (I think fasciculations make noise). I hope you can move past any anxiety over this at this point.

Thanks guys. I had my first unmedicated sleep last night in 9 months. Sounds like nothing but that is a huge step forward for me.

That's awesome Leroy! I do know what a step forward that is, understand completely. I think I may have had 5 nights unmedicated in my 9 months, but change it up all the time so I don't get too dependent on any one thing. Often it is only Melatonin 10 mg. I am sleeping better now than I was in the beginning. Almost 10 months in since the start of all this nonsense. Happy for you!

Awesome advice! I do the same. I actually took a picture of that paragraph on my phone so I can look at it when I get nutty. ;)

I read it about 50 times a day. My anxiety is now telling me they sent the wrong report to my neuro :/

Think I'm ready for another EMG. I think if they turn the current up to max and insert the needles directly into my head it might be the most effective treatment.
