Odd Feeling in Foot

Postby Tiber2011 on April 23rd, 2014, 1:52 pm

For a month, I've had on-and-off (more so like on) a weak-spot sensation over my left middle toe.

I complained of feeling prickiling in my heels when passing a stool. I think it can be traced to wearing tight, narrow dress shoes. I switched to nicer shoes and it doesn't always occur.

Yet, this weak spot seems to affect my foot, and even leg; seems heavier.

I can curl my toes, stand on my toes, stand on my heel. Run, even.

Should I call the neuro for a 3rd EMG before I go on vacation? I also now have a persistant pain in my upper left arm.

numbness in the toes means you may have nerve pinchmnet in the foot (it is several dozens of little bones and nerves may be pinched easily).
My point of view is if you do not have motor deficite in the foot (drop, strange curvature related to body position, spasticity) - no need for EMG. Podiatrist and surgeon and Xray may help.
