My journey started almost 2 years ago with an odd buzzing sensation and then body wide twitching. Here is a link to a past post about my symptoms - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=18997&p=142527&hilit=donnastar#p142445

Happy to share that I finally saw an neurologist this week who is an expert in neuromuscular disorders in my city including the past director of ALS clinic. My Diagnosis=Benign. My mind went blank when it was time to ask questions which I regret. Although I still have some questions that may never have answers anyways the neurologist did provide much reassurance that everyone twitches unfortunately I do with the most severity. He assured me that serious disease just doesn't present this way and acknowledged how frightening of an experience the twitching can be. Now the journey begins to learn to live not in fear as a twitcher:).

In Canada it's Thanksgiving and I'm very blessed for a benign diagnosis and that I've had this forum to offer me much needed support that last 2 years. Happy Thanksgiving!
