The below article is about a study that was conducted with brain scans taken before and after people started meditating. Stress levels went down for the participants by up to 39%. The brain scans showed changes in certain regions of the brain linked with anxiety and worrying showing that the meditation had a real effect. Check it out and consider taking an active role in managing your stress and anxiety levels. It worked for me! :)
