constant elbows twitching

Postby fabina57 on September 10th, 2012, 3:25 am

Hi,

I'm scared, my elbows have constant twitch. I don't know why i have this new twitch.
I'm still very anxious, since february -> No weakness, no atrophy, No brisk reflex, 2 clean EMGs.

Arnaud,
I have this too. Both elbows have been twitching for almost 4 months straight. Prior to that, I got twitches there quite often but not as constant as they are today. Please don't worry. -Matt

Arnaud,
How frequent are your elbow twitches? If I cross my arms and stare at my elbows in the mirror, I will see about 1 twitch every 20 seconds in each elbow. Is yours like that or different? Just curious.

I have had constant twitching behind my left knee since I started twitching 9 months ago. It has been worse this week than ever and that is the straight up truth. It is driving me bat sh#$#$# crazy. BUT...I tell myself that I am NO different than anyone else on the board who have or have had hotspots last months and months. I am "normal" in a weird way!

Vicki,
That is absolutely correct! Most of my hotspots last MONTHS and not days or weeks. To give you an idea, here are my current hotspots:

Calves and feet: Dimpling twitches all day, all night since May 2011 (16 months).

Right eyelid (bottom): Twitches everytime I close my eyes hard. Been doing this since January (8 months).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgjgzqrlgPs
Tongue: Pulling twitch on the left middle part of my tongue. Happens hundreds of times a day. (6.5 months).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVg5Jf0fGz0
Elbows: 1 twitch every 20 secs or so on BOTH elbows. (3 months)

I also had a twitch above my left knee that lasted for 3 months nonstop and a pinky toe twitch that also lasted 3 months. Both of these twitches were 24/7.

But I've also had hotspots that last just a few days, mostly in my hands and chest.

I know you guys are sick of my videos, haha, but I like to show people what I'm talking about!

I've had BFS for 3 years. My elbows have been doing this for 2 years now. I doubt they'll ever stop. I can also see very faint "lightning bolt" type twitches in both triceps but they are too faint to capture on video.

Oh, and my left bicep has been twitching for 17 weeks now. Awesome.
