I have just been told I have benign fasciculations.

It has not been much fun recently (!!!). i have widespread fasics and all sorts of vague aches and tremors especially left arm and left leg. I found it very hard to beleive it was not serious. Bit of me still does.

My neurologist said a couple of things that may be interestng. Their motor neurone disease (ALS) patients asa rule do not see a neurologist complaining of fasciciulations. they do have them but the usual complaint is relentless progressive weakness or occasionally bulbar symptoms - the fascics are often noticed first by the neurologist on examination.

BFS is a condition that the medical profession does not understand well right now.

So I guess we have to look after ourselves - this forum seems a great way to share experiences and reassurance which i am sure everyone needs. After all having muscles twitch and move by themselves is pretty scarey.
