Read This! Regarding some possible causes BFS

Please see your doctor regarding your spine. Compressed discs and nerves can cause many of the sysptoms of BFS. So really it's not benign. Brachial Neuritis, Cervical Arthritis, pinched nerves off the spinal cord or disc pressure on the spinal cord can cause havic on your central nervous sys. You may or may not feel pain from these conditions. Some can be managed from therapy ,others may need surgery. Keep in mind that surgery is not a fix all. You may still have some pain even after surgery to fix dics problems and if the damage to the nerves or spinal cord has been there for too long, it may not be reversable, but you can stop further damage. Disc replacements may get the disc off the spinal cord and releive many issues, however, if you have bons spurs on the back of the neck this is another proceedure altogether. You may be advised to try faucet joint injections first before surgery is even considered. Discuss your options with your doctor. It's important to know this; MRI's are good for seeing disc and nerves, but not bone spurs. To see bone spurs (also called osteoarthritis) you should get a CT. You can Google : Brachial Neuritis, Carvical Arthritis, bone spurs, and osteoarthritis for more details on these conditions.
