Something my gastro doc said about swallowing difficulty

I almost forgot to post this.

As some of you know, about a month ago I had an EGD study done. (also known as endoscopy) Nothing major was found except a superficial stomach ulcer and gastric erosions on my esophogus (from many years of GERD).

I did ask my gastro doc if this can cause that "lump" in the lower throat or neck feeling of food not going down all the way. She replied that yes, the erosions can cause that "full" feeling in the throat, but there is nothing really "blocking", etc.

Just some food for thought for people that have GERD and get this feeling from time to time.
