ahhhhh bad night

Postby Brian_B on April 17th, 2003, 10:31 pm

it has been quite a while since I have had something twitch for any length of time. theres been something twitch maybe a few minutes but then stop but now the big musle running along the outside of my left leg has been twitching for a few hours. Makes me wish I was working, at least then I can kinda occupy my mind and ignore it but now I just sit here and feel it or watch it do that, oh well guess I wont sleep very well tonight unless it stops :(

That's always the way isn't it - as soon as you start to fel better, something starts twitching or something to make you feel worse again. I guess that if you had been working, you probably wouldn't have noticed it at all. I've been feeling quite bad recently- mainly because I've not been doing much, and have been obsessing about every little twitch, ache, feeling of perceived weakness etc. as well as examining all my muscles daily! I think occupational therapy is clearly one of the best cures for this - even if it's only for the short term. I've started researching my family tree recently, and spent the other night at the PC for at least 2 and a half hours looking for distant relatives on the censuses and stuff, and didn't even think about my problems. Of course when I realised that I'd not been thinking about it, I felt worse again, and everything started twitching. Next time you feel a twitch, I think it's important to find something to do to take your mind off it. Hope you got some sleep
