if someone has parkinsons would that show on an EMG and reflex test or MRI?

Brian -- I don't think it would show. Parkinson's is only a brain disease, it doesn't happen in the lower motor neurons. They might get some indication from an MRI, but I doubt it. The threshold is very subtle.

I know a lot about Parkinson's, because before I ever had the ALS anxiety I was convinced I was going to get Parkinson's (personal reasons I probably shouldn't share online ;-)). One thing I found in my research is that fasciculations are not an indication of parkinson's. The muscles aren't dying in that way. Having fascics as a presenting symptom of parkinson's would be extremely unlikely.
